Down’s Syndrome

Sean Wong* (Male, 4 Years)

Sean Wong has Downs Syndrome. He had less stamina and would get fatigued very easily. He had digestive issues – he would either experience diarrhea or constipation. He was very sensitive towards food. His comprehension was limited. Although he was affectionate he would keep to himself and do things as he was directed. Parents were concerned about his motivation to learn. He also was very clumsy. He was non verbal and would not talk.

After: His digestive system has shown significant improvement. He has put on weight and his stamina has improved significantly. Although he still does not speak much, his desire to communicate his needs is more now. He has also begun to use single words. Parents reported that he has become very curious about his environment.
